I was driving home from work the other day and I was feeling so happy. Nothing special happened that I can recall. I just had this overwhelming feeling that I loved my life SO MUCH! I have a great family. Everyone's healthy for the most part. My Joni is such an awesome little girl. My husband's alright. Just kidding, he's a sweetheart and we have a great time together. Our friends are great too.
I mean my life is far from perfect but everything seems just right... it's a wonderful feeling. :)
Hope everyone's loving their life and having a great summer!

OMG! OMG! WOW!
Last night we were watching some science show about galaxies and stars. Joni started saying "OMG OMG WOW!". Really? So I ask her, "OMG what Joni?" She just ignores me and continues saying that over and over again. HAHA. Kids say the funniest things.
Over the 4th of July weekend we stop by our friend's house for a bbq. They bought a blow up pool and filled it with a few inches of water. Check out how happy Joni is. I can look at that pic all day long. :)

What does the lion say?
So for awhile now when you ask Joni what the lion says, she roars. It's pretty cute. That also works when you ask her what the monster/alligator/dinosaur says...haha.
At almost 14 months she can say mostly one syllable words. Some of these are Chinese and some are English.
Here's what I remember off the top of my head:
If you can't tell, I'm really proud of my little Joni. Today one word syllables, next week COLLEGE!!

Giraffe Kazoo
So we got Joni this giraffe thing for Xmas. The body was a guitar, the head was a kazoo and the legs were maracas. You blow into one of the antennas on the giraffe's head and it makes a noise. So Peter was trying to teach Joni how to do it. I love it. Take a look.

It's been awhile!
Wow, the last post was Sept 18th! Well, some time has passed! We actually moved into our new home on Nov 18th. It finally feels like home! A few days after that Joni turned 1 then Thanksgiving and now Xmas has passed. What a year 2009 has been!
The Brownie Club members all became home owners as well as our good friends KC, King Kong, and Pei. (Sorry if I missed anyone!) A few of our friends and family welcomed sweet babies this year also. And a bunch of us joined the 30 club!
I hope everyone had a merry Xmas and a great 2010!
I will be posting some pics of our new home soon. Here are a few recent ones of Joni.
