Writing Skills

So on Sunday I was writing a card for a birthday party we were heading to for my friend's son.  I asked Joni to sign her name.  I held her hand and instructed her how to move the pen.  I wasn't moving her hand though. After that Joni asked for a small piece of card stock that was on the table.  She grabbed a pen and did this all on her own, without instruction from anyone:

I've been trying to teach her how to write her name for a couple of weeks now.  Seriously, I'm one proud mama!
