sick baby...

Hello folks. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Our little Joni is a bit under the weather. She has a runny nose and has been coughing. I took her to see her pediatrician Dr. G and he said Joni's going to be fine. He thinks she's just got something viral and should be okay in the next few days. I got her some Vicks Vapor Rub for Babies and it seems to be helping her breathe better. Thank goodness!

This is the 2nd time in a month or so that Joni's been sick. Should I feel like a horrible mother? It really breaks your heart when your child is ill. The first time Joni was sick, she wasn't her usual playful self and she didn't want to eat. She just looked so sad. When we held her she'd have her eyes closed and just whimper. So sad!! This time around, she's still all smiles but a wet sounding cough here and there. Grandma and grandpa were freaken out. Hopefully she'll be all better in a couple of days and we could enjoy the beautiful weather we've been getting.
